In celebration of our 25th anniversary, Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering invites the public to join our “Engineering the Future” events that take place on June 21-23, 2021 as part of our annual Board of Governors.
Each day, experts from around the globe will discuss the changes taking place during this historical period and their effects on higher education, academic institutions, engineer education and K-12 STEM education.
The “Engineering the Future” events will begin on Monday, June 21, 2021 with global experts who will discuss how the COVID-19 disruption has affected healthcare, the economy, the job market, academic institutions and higher education systems.
On Tuesday, June 22, 2021, we will hold the 6th Annual Afeka Conference for the Development of National Human Capital in Engineering. The conference will address the impact of COVID on the changes already occurring in engineer education. We will also present the Afeka framework for STEM education along the entire educational continuum and conclude with an expert panel on K-12 STEM education in the post-COVID era.
On Wednesday, June 23, 2021 we will hold our annual Board of Governors meeting and a series of short talks presented by Afeka faculty researchers on their personal “Engineering Spark”. We will conclude the events by marking 25 years of excellence with an on-campus celebration of our “Passion for Engineering” during which we will pay tribute to this year’s Afeka Honorary Award recipients.
