HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Hotel accommodations have been arranged at one of the Tel Aviv & Herzliya hotels.

Customers' accommodation costs from May 23rd to May 26th (3 nights) will be covered by HP Indigo and will include breakfast and wireless Internet access**.

Meals and transportation within Israel that are part of the event will also be covered by HP Indigo.

** HP employees, Channel and Partners will need to cover their own accommodations.

Hotel confirmation, including all relevant details, will be sent one week prior to arrival

Upon Arrival:

This year event participants are asked to arrive independently to their hotels, located in Tel Aviv and Herzliya.

Once you have claimed your baggage, please go to the official Airport Taxi Service located upon exiting Gate 3 of Ben Gurion airport.

The taxi service is open 24/7.

The average price per ride is between 180-250 NIS, depending on arrival time and distance to the destination.

Upon Departure:

All guests are advised to leave to the airport no less than four hours before to their flights.

Taxi services are available at all hotels and may be coordinated through the hotel concierge.

What documents are required to enter Israel?

Passport: Travel to Israel requires a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of return ticket.

Israel airport security procedures?

Like the rest of the world, Israel’s security procedures are often long and tiresome. We will provide our guests with sufficient documentation to help expedite the security process upon their departure from Israel.

What expenses are covered for the VIP Event?

Meals and transportation within Israel that are part of the event will also be covered by HP. Overseas travel costs are not covered. (HP employees, channel partners, solution and media partners will need to cover their own accommodations.)

Dress code for the event

Dress code is casual for daytime and evening events. For the tour, please make sure to bring comfortable shoes and warm clothes.
 

What is the local Israeli currency?

The Israeli new shekel (a.k.a. NIS or ILS) is the currency of the State of Israel.

Foreign currency of all kinds may be exchanged at the airport, banks, post offices, most hotels or licensed exchange agencies in large cities. A passport is required when exchanging Traveller's checks. Rates vary from place to place, and banks charge a commission.

How is the weather this time of year?

The climate in Israel during May can be summarized as warm and very dry. Daytime maximum temperatures average around a comfortable 26°C (79°F), whilst at night 15°C (59°F) is normal.

What is the standard electrical voltage in Israel?

In Israel the standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. Guests can use electric appliances in Israel, if the standard voltage in their countries is in between 220 - 240 V (as is in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa). Manufacturers take these small deviations into account. Guests may need a plug adapter.
