Dr. Luis G. Vargas is recognized nationally and internationally as one of the experts in the field of Aquatic Rehabilitation. He has lectured in Spain, Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, in his own country of Puerto Rico and throughout the United States. He has received several awards and recognitions for his contributions to this clinical industry. He is the translator of the certification exam in Aquatic Rehabilitation into Spanish offered by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute (ATRI). He has distinguished himself as a professor and academic administrator in the United States and Puerto Rico and has conducted multiple research studies. Dr. Luis G. Vargas authored and has successfully published two books: Aquatic Therapy: Interventions and Applications, and Diagnostic Aquatics Systems Integration: Specialized Interventions.
