Liana Tripto-Shkolnik received M.Med.Sc in physiology and MD degrees from Faculty of Health Sciences and the Goldman School of Medicine, Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Following residence in internal medicine and fellowship in endocrinology, worked as a senior endocrinologist in a hospital and ambulatory setting and led osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease service in both. She is currently positioned as deputy director of the Institute of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel and affiliated to Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Her current research interests are bone metabolism, rare bone diseases, and bone imaging for osteoporosis diagnosis.
