Mr. Gil Shapira if the founder, owner and CEO of neoLaser, a leading global designer and manufacturer of high-end surgical lasers, with close to 1,000 installations in over 40 countries, and more than 100,000 surgeries performed. He brings forward over 25 years of enegineering and product development experience, with over 17 years in the medical laser device industry. Before neoLaser, he served as VP of Product Development at OmniGuide, an MIT spinoff. Mr. Shapira served as an office in the Israeli Air Force. He holds an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University (summa cum laude), a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and a B.A in Physics from the Technion (both summa cum laude), and an MBA from MIT, Sloan School of Management.
