The HP Indigo Worldwide 2018 VIP Event guests accommodations will be at the following hotels:

Hotel allocation will be provided to you prior to the event.

Your accommodation costs from February 19^th to February 23^th (4 nights) will be covered by HP Indigo**, and will include breakfast and wireless Internet access.

Additional expenses at the hotel will be charged separately to your room.

Details and Logistics

Transfers to and from the airport

From the airport: Upon arrival at Ben-Gurion International Airport, after passing customs, you will be met by a ground transfer representative holding a sign with the HP logo. The representative will help you locate the shuttle arranged for your transfer to your hotel.

To the airport: Upon departure a personal transfer to the airport will be arranged for you 3.5 hours prior to your take off time. This will give you enough time to go through all security procedures at the airport.

Passport: Travel to Israel requires a passport valid for at least six months from the date of your return ticket.

Dress code is casual for daytime and evening events.

Weather

Israel may have pleasant weather but could also be overcast at this time of the year with temperatures ranging from 10⁰C to 23⁰C. (50⁰F- 74⁰F). Evenings are cold, so you are advised to bring a jacket and sweater. Rain is also a possibility.

Security

Like the rest of the world, Israel’s security procedures are often long and tiresome. We will provide you with sufficient documentation to help expedite the security process upon your departure from Israel.

Currency

The Israeli new shekel (a.k.a. NIS or ILS) is the currency of the State of Israel. The shekel consists of 100 agorot (single agora). Bank notes are in denominations of NIS 20, 50, 100, and 200; coins are in denominations of NIS10, NIS5, NIS2, NIS1 and 50 and 10 agorot.

Unlimited sums of local and foreign money may be brought into Israel as cash, traveler's checks, or credit cards. Foreign currency of all kinds may be exchanged at the airport, banks, post offices, most hotels or licensed exchange agencies in large cities.

A passport is required when exchanging traveler's checks. The rates vary from place to place, and banks charge a commission.

Iprint

iPrint was established in 2009 to provide creative print solutions based on a combination of digital and offset printing. Using an extensive online print ordering system, customers can self-design print products from a wide variety of templates. A new digital facility was established in Petah Tikva based on the HP Indigo 12000 and HP Indigo 7900. The digital short-run work is driven by high-performance workflow solutions including HP SmartStream Production Center. They have a variety of finishing equipment including Horizon, Polar and GMP.

Elinir

All digital from day one, Elinir is an ultra-modern printing house whose core business is now based on two HP Indigo digital presses: an HP Indigo 10000 Digital Press and an HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press. Located in Petah Tikva, Elinir was founded 30 years ago.

Peer

PEERPRINT ltd. Is a one of a kind printing house. Since the year 1942, specializing in the wine & spirit labels, boxes and certain wine p.o.s (point of sale) products.

The company focuses on providing generic and custom wine labels to the rapidly growing wine industry in Israel, printing for almost 75% of the wineries in the local market, around 100 million labels a year. There are numerous printing presses in-house to allow labels to be printed quickly and efficiently to meet a last-second deadline.

Pitkit

Pitkit is a leading Israeli label producer based in Caesarea, Israel, operating since 1967. Pitkit uses a range of technologies including HP Indigo WS6800 and HP Indigo WS6600 Digital Presses for labels and folding carton printing in addition to ABG finishing. The converter serves leading corporate clients in the cosmetics, beverages and pharma-cuticle industries, offering high-end printing quality in addition to security solutions.

Orda

Orda printing is a folding cartons converter specializing in the pharma market. Eshel recently installed an HP Indigo 30000 Digital Press to improve the production floor, give a solution for short-run jobs per the market demands, and to develop new and improved markets such as cosmetics. The company is located in Petah Tikva.

Tour of Jerusalem – Holy Sites within the Old City

Tour in the Old City

We shall start our tour at an observation point on Mt. Scopus overlooking the Judean desert.

From there we'll descend along the Mt. of Olives to the Gethsemane Church. According to history, this is where Jesus spent his last night.

We'll enter the Old City via the Zion Gate, walk over to the Jewish Quarter and visit the Western Wall.

Church of the Holy Sepulchre

Following the Davidson Center, we will make our way via the Byzantine Cardo to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The site is believed to be the place where Jesus was crucified, and is said also to contain the place where Jesus was buried (the Sepulchre).

The church has been a paramount pilgrimage destination since at least the 4th century, as the purported site of the resurrection of Jesus.

Towards the end of the tour we will walk along the way of the cross (Via Dolorosa), and through the markets – where you'll have free time for shopping.
