1st Webinar: TBC

In  the last year the World in general and the Medical establishment in particular deals mainly with one main issue: COVID 19. More than 90.000 articles were published in 2020 and more than 30.000 in the first two months of 2021.

But COVID isn't the "bread and butter" of Paediatrics. Optimal Child Health Care deals with many much more relevant and important issues in need of academic debate platforms that may stimulate and eventually reach Consensus and agreements on child health pathologies, difficulties and controversies.

This idea is not new and was what stood behind the initiative led more than a decade ago by a group of World leading pediatricians in the foundation of the Global Initiative for Consensus in Pediatrics (C.I.P).

Before the travelling limitations of COVID 19 , this public, nonprofit, unbiased, apolitical and independent organization promoted and seeked optimal Global Pediatric Health Care by organizing six widely attended International Congresses in Paris (France), Moscow (Russia), Bangkok (Thailand), Xian (China), Budapest (Hungary) and Colombo (Sri Lanka).

The Pandemic has led us to a next step in our quest and thus we launched the Pediatric International Community (P.IC)., an international web based forum in which pediatricians can communicate, interchange ideas and opinions and engage in academic activities without having to “belong” to a society or organization, without boundaries of nationality or sects.

The first webinar will be held TBC and will include three topics.

The webinar is open to all, irrespective of nationality, gender, race, and faith, philosophical or political opinions. Membership is gained by registration and attendance to the activity without any annual fee attached to and all professionals can take part, be it pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, pediatric surgeons, nurses, residents, physicians other than pediatricians, nutritionists, traditional practitioners, psychologists and all other related health professionals engaged in the deliverance of pediatric health.
