About The Israeli Private Capital Conference

Following reforms in long-term savings in Israel and with the support of the regulatory environment, the total assets managed by Israeli institutional investors grew exponentially over the last decade to $676 billion (31-12-2021), compared with a total of managed assets of NIS $293 billion As of 31-12-2012, reflecting a growth of 131% in the past decade. In recent years, we have witnessed a change in the asset allocation of Israeli institutional investors. This change is due, inter alia, to the existing low allocation to private capital (relative to the rest of the world) and inadequate supply in the domestic market. This change reflected in the allocation of capital to overseas markets and in the search for investment alternatives, such as private capital investment. These trends are expected to continue, and the allocation to these assets is expected to continue its exponentially growth in the next decade. In view of the increasing interest of foreign asset managers and local institutional investors, HA Global, in a joint venture with Preqin, initiated a few years ago the Israeli Private Capital Conference.
