**Tourists with a valid tourist entry visa* are exempt from VAT payment.
Guests who do not produce a valid entry permit will be charged 18% VAT.
Foreign residents holding Israeli passports are not eligible for the VAT exemption.

*Please note: when you go through customs, your passport is not stamped –
instead you will receive a blue paper card.
KEEP THE BLUE CARD, it is your proof of a tourist visa
and you will be asked to provide it at the hotel.
