Accommodation:

The hotel is located the heart of Jerusalem, just a few minutes' walk from the historic Old City.

Two days of the conference will also be held at the Waldorf conference rooms (one day at Hadassah Medical Center).

Weather in Jerusalem in March:
March, the first month of spring in Jerusalem, is a pleasant month, with temperature in the range of an average high of 21.1°C (70°F) and average low of 11.5°C (52.7°F). Sunrise is just after 6:00am and sunset at around 17:40 (5:40pm). March is typically described as mildly cool with a gentle breeze, and rain is likely.

Language:
The official language of the conference is English.

Flights:
Participants should book their flights to Ben Gurion International Airport (airport code: TLV).

Passports and Visas:
Prior to booking your flight ticket, please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months past your travel date. Participants from some countries require a visa to enter Israel. We suggest that you check this with your travel agent or on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Please note: Upon entry into Israel, your passport will not be stamped - you will instead receive a light blue card called an Electronic Gate Pass. This is an official form of identification while in Israel. Please keep this card at hand at all times as it is proof of your status, and required among other things when you book into the hotel.

Letter of Invitation:
Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to participate in the Meeting. It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee.

Dress Code:
Participants are advised to wear business casual for all meeting functions and programs.

Guest Attendance Policy:
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees and registered partners. Non-registered guests are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Liability and Insurance:
Please do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. Hotels strongly recommend that you use their safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

The Meeting Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
