Cruise Cancellation Policy and General Terms – MSC Cruises

 

Dear Guest,

We are delighted to welcome you aboard the MSC Grandiosa group vacation by AB DENTAL. Below are the registration, payment, and cruise conditions – please read carefully and familiarize yourself with these important guidelines:

 

What’s Included in the Price?

•EASY PACKAGE Beverage Plan including:

Alcoholic & non-alcoholic cocktails, draft/bottled beer, house wines, soft drinks, juices, bottled water, and classic hot drinks (espresso, cappuccino, tea, etc.)

 

Additional (Optional) Charges

•Shore excursions, internet packages, spa treatments, etc. are subject to an additional 15%-18% service charge (unless pre-purchased).

•Services purchased onboard will appear with a service charge on your cabin account.

 

Cancellation Policy

• Up to 120 days prior to departure: deposit only of 100$ per person

• 65–119 days prior: 20% of the total amount

• 31–64 days prior: 60%

• 16–30 days prior: 80%

• 15 days or fewer: 100%

 

Important Notes

• Canceling a family/shared cabin will incur charges for all guests booked in the room.

• Canceling one guest from a double room may convert it into a single room, with a single occupancy rate applied.

• Port taxes are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the cruise.

• Pre-purchased shore excursions or additional services may have separate cancellation policies.

 

Changes and Modifications

• Name changes allowed up to 60 days before departure (after which a $80 fee applies per change).

• Changing the guest composition or cabin category is subject to prior written approval.

• Triple/quad rooms are limited and subject to availability.

Upper beds in such cabins are not suitable for children under 6 or guests with limited mobility.

 

Passports and Visas

It is the full responsibility of each guest to ensure their passport is valid for at least 6 months after the cruise and that all required visas for the cruise itinerary are obtained.

No boarding will be allowed without proper travel documents.

Cruise Terms & Guidelines:

Cruise Operations & Ship Policies

• Check-in time will be determined by the cruise line, generally up to 4 hours before sailing (departure at 19:00).

• Dining seatings are assigned at the discretion of MSC.

• Complimentary water, coffee, and tea are available in the buffet restaurants.

• Guests requiring special meals (e.g., kosher, allergen-sensitive, etc.) must inform us at least 90 days in advance for proper arrangements.

 

Medical and Health Information

Passengers with medical conditions, pregnant women, infants, or guests with reduced mobility must verify suitability to sail under MSC’s general terms.

 

Cabin Types and Allocations

• “GUARANTEE” cabins: Type is guaranteed (e.g., interior, balcony), but location will be assigned close to departure.

• Upgrades may be given at MSC’s discretion, with no entitlement for exchange or compensation.

 

Additional Information

• MSC discounts and offers (such as Voyager Club or personal promos) do not apply to group bookings.
