ITEC's Covid-19 Relief Fund
Israel began the second nationwide COVID-19 lockdown on September 18, 2020
COVID-19 has hit Israel hard and has hit the already marginalized children ITEC serves even harder. The country has over one million residents unemployed, many of whom are the parents of the children we serve.
Hunger is commonplace, economic distress and fear is rampant, and
isolation is fostering mental health issues among the children & their families
ITEC desperately needs your support for scholarships for at-risk children to return to their Place of Refuge when our tennis & education centers reopen.
Your generosity will provide vital services to the children and their parents including:
Food
Mental health counseling,
Socialization,
Mentoring by our ITEC staff,
Tennis and physical fitness, restoring some normality in their lives in an uncertain environment
A total of $350,000 for the Children’s Emergency Relief Campaign is needed
for the next three months.
Your gift of ANY amount will help
Save the Lives of these children and families at-risk and their families.

Through the discipline of tennis, the Israel Tennis & Education Centers (ITEC) strive to improve the lives of children in one of the most conflicted regions of the world. By teaching the life skills of self-reliance, perseverance and focus, the ITEC fosters sustainable values of self-esteem, character and tolerance, creating a positive imprint on the children, their families, the communities and the world for generations to come.
Founded in 1976, ITEC is one of the largest social service organizations for children in Israel, serving over 20,000 Israeli children every year. The ITEC’s 14 centers stretch from Kiryat Shmona in the North to Beer Sheva in the South. Many of these centers are in underprivileged neighborhoods, providing disadvantaged children with a safe, structured and nurturing environment, creating champions, on and off of the court.
